SSMT + SMT Fill

Two steps. Highest probability gap entry. Simple, clean, repeatable.

Overview

This model uses the SSMT to set direction and the SMT Fill to identify the specific gap to enter from. Two concepts, one of the cleanest entries in QT.

Step-by-Step

  • Wait for an SSMT to form on your target time frame. Note the direction.

  • Wait for the FIRST fair value gap to form on the same TF after the SSMT.

  • The gap must be present on at least two closely correlated assets.

  • Wait for an SMT Fill to form — one asset returns to its gap, the other doesn’t.

  • Enter after the SMT Fill candle closes, or drop to lower TF for a refined entry inside the gap.

  • Stop: below the gap (longs) or above the gap (shorts). Or on the SSMT invalidation.

  • Target: opposing liquidity, HTF draw, or a minimum 2R.

Notes

  • Multiple SSMTs (HTF then LTF) before the SMT Fill = higher probability.

  • SMT Fill inside a gap that also has a tCISD forming from lower TF = maximum probability.

  • If the first gap gets fully filled by both assets without divergence — it is not an SMT Fill. Wait for the next gap.

Two Concepts, One Edge

  • SSMT tells you the direction. SMT Fill tells you the gap to enter. That’s the whole model. Simple. Consistent. Repeatable.
